LookOut

 

‘LookOut’ sculpture is situated on the roof of the SW corner of the new development of the MetroCentre, Gateshead.

​

It stands 7m tall, 4m diameter at the top and is lit with fibre optics and high powered LED lighting. The work is filled with five stainless steel spheres 1.2m in diameter. The piece is designed to act as a beacon to herald the new development at the MetroCentre and is highly visible from the A1 close by.
