‘Cate in Studio’

Landforms, the elements, and the ever-changing complexities of nature serve as the dominant influences behind Cate Watkinson’s work. The designs explore the subtleties of the natural environment, capturing the dramatic and gentle forms moulded and impressed upon the landscape by nature itself. Observing clearly the intricacies of the natural landscape, Cate’s designs explore texture, pattern and light.

"The shapes have a never-ending fascination for me, often expressed in different ways in organic forms."
